Bright Endeavors is a nonprofit social enterprise and job training program committed
to helping homeless and at-risk young women, between the ages of 16-25, gain the
necessary skills to become self-sufficient, successful adults. Located in Chicago,
Bright Endeavors assists inner city young women to make positive life changes that
lead to a strong sense of self, achievement, independence and direction.
By offering transitional employment through its natural candle line, Dreambean Candles,
Bright Endeavors provides each participant with the guidance and training needed
to build a foundation that leads to the achievement of personal and professional
goals.
Proceeds from the sale of Dreambean Candles go to support training, mentoring and
permanent job placement for the young women that lovingly create and package each
product.
